We're seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to provide essential resource and in-class support, focusing on helping children in grades K-2 achieve their educational and developmental goals. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing you to establish lasting connections with both students and staff.

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting Familiarity with resource and in-class special education support Ability to provide 1:1 support for students with special needs, alongside nursing staff Skilled in fostering a nurturing environment and effectively managing behavioral challenges Strong communication skills and flexibility to adapt to various student needs Demonstrated passion for supporting young learners (K-2 focus initially)

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering individualized instruction and behavioral interventions as needed Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and special education staff Support students within resource rooms and general classroom settings Provide custodial care and assist students with daily routines and activities Serve as a compassionate 1:1 aide, ensuring the well-being of students receiving nursing support Adapt to other duties and age ranges as school needs evolve throughout the assignment You'll be a valued part of a single-building community, where your efforts make an immediate impact on both individual students and the entire school.
