Early Childhood Teacher Assistant Bilingual (English & Spanish )- Full Time Position Pequeñin Children's Multicultural Readiness Academy is a NAEYC accredited preschool in Hartford, Connecticut, seeking a motivated, caring, and dedicated fully bilingual English/Spanish Early Childhood Teacher Assistant to join our team immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or a related field with the required Early Childhood Education coursework. 12 or more credits in Early Childhood Education, as applicable. CDA Certification may be considered for qualified candidates. Fluent in both English and Spanish - REQUIRED. Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience with toddler and/or preschool-age children preferred. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood curriculum. Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, teachers, and administrators. Commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement developmentally appropriate daily activities and learning experiences. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development. Create a safe, healthy, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Use both English and Spanish to support children's learning and communication. Observe, document, and assess children's development and progress. Establish positive relationships with children and families. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and administration. Follow program policies, NAEYC standards, and Connecticut early childhood requirements.
