A NAEYC accredited preschool in Hartford is looking for a fully bilingual English/Spanish educator who is passionate about working with young children and creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment . This is a full time position. Early Childhood Teachers & Teacher Assistants

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with appropriate Early Childhood Education coursework. CDA Certification may be considered for Teacher Assistant positions. Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish. One or more years of experience working with toddler and/or preschool-age children preferred. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education. Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and teaching staff. Must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and a commitment to children's learning and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement developmentally appropriate daily learning activities. Provide a safe, healthy, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, physical, and creative development. Observe and document children's learning and development. Build positive relationships with children and families. Work collaboratively with classroom staff and administration. Follow Pequeñín C.M.R.A. policies, NAEYC standards, and Connecticut early childhood requirements.
