Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Paraprofessional supporting elementary and middle school students in a vibrant educational community. This full-time, onsite role runs from 8:45AM-3:45PM, Monday through Friday, for a 35-hour work week. Your expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) will be essential as you work one-on-one with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH). Mornings are spent at an elementary school alongside a single student, while afternoons are dedicated to supporting a middle schooler. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 11, 2027, offering meaningful continuity and growth. The ideal candidate is patient, adaptable, and energized by helping students thriveespecially those with special education (SPED) needs.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Paraprofessional, preferably in a school setting Proven ASL proficiency; must submit current ASL certification Background working with children who are D/HH Ability to work one-on-one and adapt to individual student needs Comfortable assisting with toileting, diapering, and personal care tasks as needed Experience with the SPED population High school diploma required District onboarding, background check, and all required paperwork must be completed
