Multiple contract opportunities are available for dedicated individuals to support children with complex disabilities, neurodevelopmental delays, and behavioral or emotional needs. As an integral part of the educational team, you'll work in a supportive environment where comprehensive training is provided to ensure your success. You'll play a meaningful role as a Paraprofessional, assisting students 1:1 or 2:1, Monday through Friday from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm, for a total of 32.5 hours per week during the school year (August 24, 2026 through June 11, 2027). What we're seeking: Preferably an Associate's degree or a passing score on the Para Pro exam (however, candidates with relevant classroom or special education experience will also be considered) Compassion, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children who have diverse needs Strong communication and collaboration skills to support both students and teachers Patience and adaptability in dynamic settings What you'll do: Provide attentive, hands-on support to students with varying abilities in academic and social settings Assist with implementing individualized educational and behavioral plans Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere that encourages growth and independence Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other team members to ensure students' needs are met Maintain confidentiality and a high standard of professionalism at all times Engage fully in ongoing training to enhance skills and best practices This contract offers you the chance to truly impact the educational journey of children while building valuable skills for your career.
