Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or working with children in an academic setting Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Ability to follow guidance from teachers and implement classroom strategies Patience, flexibility, and genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed Familiarity with individualized instruction and supporting students with diverse needs appreciatedKey Responsibilities:
Work closely with certified teachers to deliver effective instructional support Assist students individually and in small groups to reinforce lessons or provide accommodations Monitor student progress, engagement, and behavior, reporting back to instructional staff Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom climate where all learners feel encouraged to participate Support classroom organization, preparation of materials, and supervision during activities or transitions Adapt to changing needs with a positive, solution-oriented approach This contract role provides a rewarding blend of daily interaction with students and valuable teamwork experience in a thriving school setting.
