Key Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in school settings preferred Familiarity with special education, resource support, and inclusion classrooms Ability to engage with students in grades K-2 with patience and respect Comfortable delivering both group and one-on-one support Demonstrated reliability and strong communication skills Willingness to provide custodial care and assist with social, emotional, and physical needs Capable of following direction from teachers, RNs, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist students in grades K-2, offering academic and behavioral support in both resource and in-class settings Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to maintain an inclusive, supportive environment Support the special needs program, including 1:1 assistance for students requiring additional care Accompany and aid RN and other professionals to ensure student health and safety Supervise, motivate, and engage students throughout the school day Maintain student confidentiality and comply with all school policies
