Please apply directly on our website: https://www.applitrack.com/plainville/onlineapp/default.aspx Overview Join our dedicated educational team as a Special Education Paraeducator, where you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to work closely with classroom teachers, assist students in achieving their academic and social goals, and foster an inclusive learning environment. You will contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and help create a positive, engaging classroom experience for children with disabilities. This paid position is ideal for passionate individuals eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. Hourly rate of pay is current rate for internal candidates or $20.48 to $23.23 for external candidates. Duties Support students with disabilities by implementing tailored instructional strategies aligned with their IEPs Assist in classroom management to promote a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons, activities, and transitions Help students develop literacy, math, communication skills Support behavioral management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social interaction Foster communication skills through engaging activities that support speech development and socialization for children with autism or developmental disabilities Some of the Benefits for
