Key Qualifications:
Experience working with students in educational or youth settings is highly desirable Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education services Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting diverse learners Flexibility to adapt to various classroom environments and student needs High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or associate degree preferred
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting classroom teachers with instructional activities and student supervision Providing one-on-one or small group support for students needing extra help Helping implement lesson plans, behavior management strategies, and accommodations Monitoring student progress and sharing observations with teaching staff Supporting students with physical, emotional, or behavioral challenges Fostering an inclusive, welcoming classroom experience for all learners Aiding in daily classroom management and organization
