In this role, you will support the classroom teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging environment where young children can thrive socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually. The ideal candidate will have a warm and supportive attitude, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children while fostering their growth and development. Duties Assist the classroom teacher in supervising and managing daily classroom activities Ensure the safety and physical well-being of all children in the classroom Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment Support children's social interactions and emotional development through nurturing guidance Help facilitate age-appropriate learning activities and play-based learning experiences Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and spaces Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative environment Support children's individual needs with patience and understanding Experience Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred but not required Demonstrated patience, kindness, and a supportive attitude towards children Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic environment Strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children are highly valued
Pay:
$17.30 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 15.0 per week
