This is a full-time contract position providing key assistance to educators and students in a general education classroom. The position offers consistent daytime hours from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, providing an excellent work-life balance. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through Thanksgiving, this assignment may offer an opportunity to extend based on needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Associates degree or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment required Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in classroom support preferred Ability to collaborate with teachers and follow individualized education or behavior plans Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in supporting the growth of middle and high school learners

Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support to students in a general education setting, working closely with teachers to help meet curricular and behavioral goals Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment where all students can thrive and feel supported Assist with classroom organization, supervision, and instructional activities Implement accommodations as directed for students with varying learning needs Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other non-instructional times as needed This contract position is an ideal fit for those seeking meaningful school-based experience while contributing to a supportive academic community.
