As a key member of the educational team, you'll work directly with students and staff, providing essential assistance that helps every learner thrive.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide in a school setting Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in supporting student development Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families Ability to follow directions and instructional plans with attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training are a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers in delivering lesson plans and managing daily classroom activities Offer one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued Support students in academic, social, and emotional growth Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Document observations and progress, sharing updates with teachers and specialists
