Job Description

TriSource is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Paraprofessionals to provide one-on-one support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs in a classroom setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students succeed both academically and socially.
Paraprofessional / Behavioral
Support Aide Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:00
PM Responsibilities:
Provide individualized support to students with behavioral, emotional, and social challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other related needs. Assist students in remaining engaged with classroom instruction and academic assignments. Implement behavior management strategies and provide redirection when needed. Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. Monitor student progress and support goals outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when necessary. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and support teams to promote student success. Assist with classroom activities and provide additional support to teaching staff as requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children or adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Comfortable working with middle school and high school-aged students. Experience providing behavioral support, academic assistance, and one-on-one mentoring preferred. Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations. CPR/First Aid Certification required. PMT (Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior) certification is a plus. High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
