KinderCare is seeking Assistant Teachers for our Penn Quarter center to support enriching early childhood education programs. In this role, you'll help create a safe, engaging classroom where children explore, learn, and grow. Working closely with lead teachers, you'll assist with lesson delivery, supervision, and daily routines while building warm relationships with children and families. Responsibilities Support lead teachers in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities. Supervise children to ensure safety, well-being, and engagement throughout the day. Assist with classroom setup, organization, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Reinforce routines and positive behavior guidance for young children. Communicate warmly and professionally with families and staff. Support documentation of children's attendance, incidents, and daily activities. Help with meals, snacks, and transitions between activities. Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Collaborate with center staff to uphold Kinder Care's curriculum and culture.
