9672503-19809 Job Description Make an impact across multiple school sites by providing essential paraprofessional support in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This contract role offers a unique floater assignment, allowing you to work with students and staff at various locations, enriching your experience and professional skills. As a valued member of the education community, youll be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week when school is in session, with schedules depending on assigned locations ranging from early mornings at high schools to standard elementary hours.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit in hand (cannot be pending; application proof required if permit is pending) Experience supporting students in a K-12 environment, preferably across multiple grade levels Flexibility to float between multiple sites based on weekly needs Willingness to pay for required $85 CBC fingerprinting before starting Strong collaboration skills and ability to adapt to new settings and student needs Reliable attendance and commitment to full-time hours during school weeks If holding an RBT, must secure BCBA supervision independently (supervision not provided through district/agency)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support in classrooms, acting as a floater paraprofessional as schools require Help implement classroom routines and instructional strategies Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students Assist with individualized student goals, modifying support as needed Communicate with teachers and staff on student progress and classroom needs Adapt quickly to changing assignments and handle a variety of classroom settings This position offers a consistent schedule Monday through Friday, with guaranteed minimum weekly hours even if called on for fewer days, and the flexibility of varied placements throughout the school year.
