Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through educational technologies and hands-on materials. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to foster strong home-school connections. Collaborate with teaching staff to develop engaging activities that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional development, and childhood growth. Follow all educational compliance regulations including the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), health and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certifications, and behavioral management policies. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in classroom settings or childcare environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development principles, classroom behavior management strategies, and special education practices. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers to plan activities that support literacy education, math readiness, and social skills development. Familiarity with educational technologies such as computers used for instructional purposes. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in childhood education is encouraged. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a valuable asset. Demonstrated understanding of educational compliance standards including ESSA regulations and behavior management techniques.
