Bring your passion for supporting students as a paraprofessional to a dynamic, contract-based opportunity near New Castle, Delaware. This position offers full-time hours as a floater paraprofessional, providing valuable classroom support across various sitesincluding elementary, middle, and high schoolsthroughout the duration of the assignment, now through June 2027. You'll collaborate with educators and school staff to create a welcoming and effective learning environment, assisting students with their academic and behavioral goals. This onsite role ensures guaranteed 30 full hours per week when school is in session, with flexible site assignments determined weekly.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
Current Delaware Paraeducator Permit (active or pending; screenshot of DEEDS portal required) Experience supporting students as a paraprofessional or in a school-based setting strongly preferred Comfortable working as a floater among multiple assigned school locations Ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality Willingness to cover a variety of grade levels and needs as required Must complete and pay for required $85 fingerprinting background check before starting If you are a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supervision must be arranged independently and outside of school hours
