Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting students in a vibrant high school environment! This contract Paraprofessional position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by assisting educators and fostering student growth. The assignment will provide coverage for a leave of absence, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through September 21, 2026. The role is based fully onsite during regular school hours, Monday through Friday, for 35 hours per week (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).
Qualifications & Required Experience:
Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit is mandatorycandidates with pending or in-process permits cannot be considered, as per current state requirements effective February 1st. At least one year of experience working with students in a school setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach to supporting teachers and learners. Reliable and consistent attendance. Willingness and ability to pay $85 for required CBC fingerprinting (please confirm awareness and agreement to this). If you hold an RBT credential, please note supervision cannot be provided during school hours, and the district does not honor RBT title or compensation for this role; services are classified solely as paraprofessional.
