Job Description
Bring your talents as a dedicated paraprofessional to a dynamic high school environment and make a daily impact supporting students and classrooms on a contract basis. This role is available immediately and will be ongoing through late September 2026, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with educational staff and help foster student success.
Key Qualifications:
Possession of a current Delaware Paraeducator Permit (must be in hand; applications pending or in process will not be accepted) Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting strongly preferred Ability to work effectively with educators and build rapport with students Demonstrates reliability, flexibility, and commitment to supporting students needs Willingness to cover the cost of CBC fingerprinting ($85) as required by state law If an RBT, must arrange your own BCBA supervision outside of work; RBT supervision or pay is not provided or recognized in this roleCore Responsibilities:
Provide daily classroom support for teachers and students in accordance with assigned duties Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce lessons, address learning needs, and encourage engagement Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and general administrative tasks as needed Follow established school protocols and accommodate students academic and behavioral plansBenefits and Perks:
