This contract position provides vital coverage for school locations, ensuring continuity of care and support for learners with diverse needs. Assignments will range from elementary, middle, and high school levels, offering a dynamic and engaging professional experience.

What Were Looking For:

Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit (pending status must be documented with a DEEDS portal screenshot; candidates without this will not be considered) Prior experience as a school paraprofessional or similar support role Willingness to float between different school sites as assigned Flexible, adaptable, and eager to engage with children of varied ages and abilities Strong collaboration and communication skills for working within school teams Ability to cover a guaranteed 30 hours per week (35 hours scheduled), with guaranteed pay per agreement, even if not all hours are worked Willingness to obtain $85 CBC fingerprinting (self-paid) prior to onboarding Self-managing, reliable attendance to pick up available shifts as determined weekly If certified as an RBT, self-arrange offsite BCBA supervision (in-school supervision not permitted for this contract)

Provide attentive support to students and instructional staff as a floater across assigned schools Follow lesson, behavior, and support plans as directed by onsite educators Engage actively in the daily life of each school while maintaining flexibility Foster a respectful and positive learning environment Communicate promptly with supervisors about assignments, availability, and changes As a vital part of these school communities, you will help ensure student needs are met daily.
