Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher/Teacher Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. The Daycare Teacher/Teacher Assistant will be responsible for planning engaging activities, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning through play and exploration. Supervise children during activities to ensure their safety and well-being. Create an inclusive environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Maintain effective classroom management to promote positive behavior among students. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience for all students. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback and support as needed. Organize activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and physical development. Requirements Proven experience in caregiving or early childhood education is preferred. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs. Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special educational needs. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental stages of children. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
