Who Are We? Blue Jay Academy is a private school for children with special needs and disabilities from grades K through 12. Serving Volusia County special needs students, Blue Jay Academy is a progressive school for children who struggle with any type of disability or special need. We work with children that have various special needs, including ADHD, Autism and Processing Deficits. At Blue Jay Academy we provide a high-quality, friendly and caring environment with therapy in order to increase the academic and behavioral abilities of our students. Our dedicated, child centered program is the most important factor in providing the best services and education to our students.

What You'll Do:
Guiding Classroom Operations:
Support the Lead Teacher in shaping the overall learning experience.
Building Meaningful Connections:
Forge strong relationships with both children and their families. Fostering a
Positive Environment:
Create a consistently positive, clean, and nurturing space for the children under your care. What You Bring to the
Table:
Age:
Be a minimum of 18 years old.
Certification & Education:
High School Diploma or GED Experience :
1 year in a licensed childcare facility for children with special needs.
Training Requirements:
Possess CPR and First Aid certification. Pass a Background Check.
Shift :
Ability to work 8:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday.
