OPS Non-Student Classroom Teacher Assistant, Little Eagles Learning Center Job Summary The OPS Non-Student Classroom Teacher Assistant assists staff in the classroom with duties such as general cleaning of the classroom, washing dishes, doing laundry, cleaning the playground and other areas of the center as assigned along with assisting with classroom activities with the children after completion of the required training. Job Description Typical duties include, but not limited to: Assists Teachers to ensure the safety and welfare of infants, toddlers, and preschool children. Ensures a clean, orderly, and healthy environment for the center including but not limited to washing dishes and doing laundry and cleaning the playground and classrooms. Collaborate with teachers to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Follow center policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols, to ensure compliance and minimize risks to children and staff.
