Duties Support lead teachers by assisting with lesson planning, classroom activities, and student engagement strategies aligned with early childhood education principles. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in literacy, math, and other foundational skills to enhance student learning outcomes. Assist with classroom management and behavior management techniques to maintain a positive and organized environment. Work closely with children with disabilities or autism, implementing tailored strategies to support their individual development plans. Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and fostering social skills through mentoring and guidance. Contribute to classroom setup, organization, and cleanup to maintain a welcoming learning space. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and specialists regarding student progress and behavioral observations. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of special education, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with early childhood development theories and Montessori or private school educational approaches is a plus. Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and students. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of children with diverse abilities, including those with autism or other disabilities. Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management and childcare skills. Passion for mentoring young learners and supporting their social-emotional growth.
