Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. About Icon Prep Icon Prep is a college-preparatory private school serving students in grades K-5. More than 90% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price meals, and 99% of our students are African American or Hispanic. Position Summary Icon Preparatory School is seeking a dependable and attentive After-School Program Assistant to supervise students participating in basic technology activities. This position is primarily focused on student supervision and maintaining a safe, structured, and positive after-school environment. Primary Responsibilities Supervise students during the after-school program. Maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment. Monitor student behavior and reinforce school expectations. Assist students with basic technology activities and educational programs. Help students use computers, tablets, and other equipment safely. Take attendance and monitor student dismissal. Ensure students are released only to authorized individuals. Report behavioral concerns, injuries, or other incidents to school leadership. Protect school equipment and report damaged or malfunctioning technology. Assist with other after-school activities and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with school-aged children preferred. Basic ability to use computers, tablets, and common applications. Strong student-supervision and group-management skills. Dependable, patient, professional, and attentive. Effective communication skills. Ability to follow school policies and safety procedures. Must successfully complete all required background checks and employment clearances.
