Gottlieb Day School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our elementary team for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children and supporting a collaborative, student-centered classroom. Position Overview The Paraprofessional works in partnership with the classroom teacher to support student learning, provide small-group and individual assistance, and help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment. What You'll Do Support classroom instruction and reinforce lesson objectives Work with individual students and small groups to support academic growth Assist students with diverse learning needs Help maintain a positive, respectful classroom culture Prepare materials and assist with classroom organization Supervise students during transitions and non-instructional times What We're Looking For Experience working with children (school setting preferred) Strong communication and collaboration skills A patient, flexible, and student-centered approach Ability to take direction and work as part of a team Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
Education:
High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred Why Join Us?
