Click on How to Apply Assistant Teacher Job description: We are looking for a committed Teacher to complement our qualified workforce of educators. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust Work hand in hand with the Lead Teachers to ensure all aspect of our Preschool and Elementary school are being met Ensure that our facility is maintained in compliance with state laws and regulations Communicate directly and effectively with parents through our brightwheel app Maintain an sanitized and organized classroom Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.) Assess and record students' progress Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom Collaborate with other teachers especially Lead Teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings Plan and educational in-class and outdoor activities and events Observe and understand students' behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc. Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
Requirements:
Must love working with children Must be able learn and implement lesson plans to teach their children Be as energetic as you can possibly be on a daily basis Must have or complete DCF 45 hours within the first 90 days Must immediately work on completing Staff Credential/CDA after 90 days period Be willing to continue your childhood education to increase your ability to help our children and teachers Be able to manage and multitask on a daily basis Be willing to work extra hours to ensure our Center is up to compliance Be willing to continue learning new job tasks as required by our Center Be willing to always look in ways our team can improve and become the best in Lakeland Drivers license required to operate company vehicles.
