Student Support Programs & Services, District Complex, 7227 Land O'Lakes Blvd., Land O'Lakes, Florida 34638 JOB SUMMARY Responsible for assisting teacher(s) in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resources, under the direct supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree, completion of 60 semester hours of college or passing score of 457 on the ParaPro Test All employees must satisfactorily complete any required trainings All employees must meet all mandated federal and state health requirements Satisfactory completion required within 6-month period of the following training and/or certification provided by the
District:
Pediatric First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Medication administration Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) In addition, CPR and First Aid training must be completed every two years and CPI training needs to be kept current and renewed on a regular basis.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
