Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Program Assistant II is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the program. This role involves assisting with the coordination of program activities, maintaining records, and facilitating communication between staff and clients. The Program Assistant II plays a crucial role in supporting the center's mission to provide quality behavioral health services.Key Responsibilities:
The program operates 24/7 and staff will participate in an on-call rotation. Facilitate communication between program staff, clients, and external partners. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of program budgets and expenditures. Support program evaluation and improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree in a related field is preferred.Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or program support role, preferably within a behavioral health or social services setting. Knowledge of completing intake paperwork is required. Experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorders is preferred.Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with database management. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with diverse populations, including clients, staff, and external partners.
