Lubavitch Hebrew Academy The Lubavitch Hebrew Academy (LHA) is looking for Assistant Teachers to begin immediately. We are one of South Florida's premier Jewish Day Schools. We are a team of educators who inspire more than 800 students by providing a supportive and nurturing environment as well as an engaging dual curriculum in General and Judaic studies.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Teacher's Assistant who will help the lead teacher implement their curriculum, create a positive environment for our young students, and assist the teacher and the children with their activities and needs.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday between 8 am - 4 pm. and Fridays 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Full-Time, salaried position
Requirements:
Be passionate about working with children. Create a warm, nurturing environment. Have a track record of being timely, punctual, and consistently reliable. Speak English well Work collaboratively. Possess patience and empathy, especially towards children, their families, and faculty. Foster positive relationships, interactions and communication. Have excellent communication skills, strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Have the ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers and our administration.
