05/13/2026 Good Shepherd Catholic School in Kendall (Miami Dade County), Florida has an opening for an Elementary Teacher Assistant for the 2026-27 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and lead small group lessons. The candidate performs all duties in alignment with the vision, mission, and values of the Roman Catholic Church.

Qualifications:

Associate degree (or equivalent), required, in education or related subject. Excellent classroom management skills. Good time management skills. Must be a team player. Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies, especially online communication technologies. Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar required. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church. Must have a professional demeanor, including the dress code.
