Job Summary This position delivers high‑quality instruction and developmental guidance to children enrolled in the Head Start Program while actively engaging and supporting their families. The incumbent plans and implements developmentally appropriate learning experiences using the High Scope and VPK curricula; coordinates and documents education services; partners with parents and service area managers to address child and family needs; conducts required home visits and parent‑teacher conferences; and maintains full compliance with all applicable Head Start Program Performance Standards, DCF licensing requirements, and agency policies across all service areas. Duties Develop and implement curriculum strategies that align with educational standards and promote literacy education. Collaborate with teachers to enhance classroom management techniques and support student learning. Conduct standardized testing and analyze results to inform instructional practices and curriculum development. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the community to foster a supportive educational environment. Requirements An AS or BS degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Or, a Preschool CDA Or, an FCCPC Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
