Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Your energetic approach will help foster curiosity, social development, and foundational skills in literacy, math, and classroom behavior. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math, and social skills. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a calm, organized environment. Provide individualized attention to children, including those with special needs or disabilities, ensuring all students feel supported and included. Help facilitate activities that develop early childhood development skills such as communication, motor coordination, and emotional regulation. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and engagement at all times. Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly. Assist with classroom setup, materials preparation, and maintaining cleanliness to create an inviting learning space. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and curriculum development techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques. Technical proficiency in using educational tools and resources for lesson delivery. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team in a private school or preschool environment. Pay:
$22.86 - $27.53 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
