Friday Required Skills and Experience :

Capacity to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen and meaningful connections occur. A love of knowledge and in return a desire to share knowledge. Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, manage multiple situations effectively and a strong sense of integrity and accountability. A desire to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications:

Teacher's Assistant experience (required•High School diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years experience working with children with or without disabilities. DCF 45 hour of childcare training or willingness to obtain (within 90 days of hire. Must be able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures at low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity. Job Types:

Part-time, Full-time Responsibilities Assist the Special Education Teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment. Provide one-on-one and group support to students, focusing on their unique learning needs. Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and adapt lesson plans. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive educational experience. Monitor student progress and behavior, reporting any concerns to the teacher.
