Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities.
  • Teach basic academic skills such as counting, letter recognition, and shapes.
  • Incorporate creative arts, music, and movement into daily lessons.
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Familiarity with state licensing regulations for daycare centers.
Note:
Experience in tutoring, math, child welfare, or physical education is a plus but not required for this position.
