Support children's emotional and behavioral development through positive behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Assist in lesson planning and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention programs. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare policies at all times. Support classroom organization by managing supplies, documenting student progress, and preparing materials for daily activities. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families. Ability to manage classroom behavior and implement classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR required; ongoing training in childhood safety is highly valued. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing is advantageous. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, inclusive education practices, and working within mandated reporting laws.
