Job Description

Lutheran Services Florida seeks a Program Aide to support child welfare and social service programs. This role assists with client intakes, scheduling, documentation, and group activities, helping ensure compassionate, efficient services for children and families. The Program Aide coordinates logistics, prepares materials, maintains accurate records, and supports daily program operations while upholding confidentiality and safety standards. Working in a collaborative, mission-driven team, this position offers exposure to behavioral health, education, and refugee support services across Florida. Responsibilities Support delivery of social and behavioral health services to children and families in LSF programs Assist with client intakes, scheduling, documentation, and follow-up contacts Maintain accurate case files and data entry in agency systems Help coordinate groups, workshops, and educational activities Provide logistical support such as preparing materials, room setup, and transportation coordination Collaborate with social workers, counselors, and program staff to meet client needs Monitor client participation and report concerns or changes to supervisors Uphold confidentiality, safety, and compliance with agency and funder requirements Required Skills Client intake support Case documentation Data entry Scheduling and coordination Microsoft Office or similar tools Recordkeeping and filing Basic behavioral health or social services knowledge Confidentiality and HIPAA awareness Customer service Bilingual communication (preferred)
