Overview We are seeking an energetic and caring Assistant Infant Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm for working with young children will help inspire their growth and curiosity while ensuring their well-being is prioritized every day. Duties Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and curiosity Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for infants and toddlers Engage with children through play, storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences that stimulate their senses and cognitive skills Help monitor children's health and safety, including following proper diapering, feeding, and nap routines Collaborate with lead teachers to observe developmental milestones and communicate progress or concerns Support behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions and emotional growth Maintain open communication with parents regarding daily activities and children's needs Experience Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with classroom management techniques tailored for young children Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are highly desirable Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus Previous nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating patience, attentiveness, and caregiving skills is valued Join us at Steam Preschool Academy to make a meaningful impact during the most formative years of a child's life!
