In this paid role, you will support lead instructors in delivering enriching activities that foster childhood development, creativity, and social skills. Your energy and commitment will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through hands-on participation and team collaboration. Responsibilities Assist lead instructors in executing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, creativity, and social skills. Supervise children during indoor and/or outdoor activities, ensuring their safety through attentive child supervision. Apply first aid and CPR protocols promptly in case of minor injuries or emergencies, following established safety procedures. Facilitate youth group activities such as science, technology, engineering, arts, math and other engaging programs. Maintain a clean, organized activity space and ensure all materials are prepared and available for planned activities. Collaborate with team members to support youth development programs that foster growth, teamwork, and leadership skills. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, camp settings, babysitting, or youth programs is highly preferred. Demonstrated classroom management skills and experience with behavior management techniques. Knowledge of childhood development principles and experience teaching or facilitating activities for young children. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or willingness to obtain these certifications upon hire. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team dedicated to youth development. Background in special education is a plus but not required. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm while maintaining a lively and positive attitude. Pay:
