Assistant Preschool Teacher Children's University Port Saint Lucie, FL Job Details Full-time $15.00 - $15.25 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Student supervision Teacher collaboration Outdoor work High school diploma or GED Classroom Teaching Full Job Description This is an 8:30am - 5:30pm position We are looking for a committed 3 year old assistant teacher to complement our team. You will be responsible for assisting in preparation on implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school's requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to children while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate for children with an ability to reach out to children and create a relationship of mutual trust. Knows how to organize a classroom and make learning an easy and meaningful process
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction to each child by promoting interactive learning. Access and record children's progress and provide feedback. Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom. Collaborate with teachers, parents and participate in regular meetings. Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
Skills:
High School Diploma 45 hours DCF child care training Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures. Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills Well organized and committed Creative and energetic Strong moral values and discipline Compensation will be based on level of education and years of experience
Pay:
$15.00 - $15.25 per hour
