Job Description

The Student Teaching Assistant will attend class meetings and support student learning through discussion, collaborative activities, course-material support, and exam review. Attend both weekly class meetings and assist with small-group discussions, collaborative activities, and other interactive learning exercises Help facilitate student participation and engagement during class discussions and activities Provide academic support to students seeking clarification on additional help with course material Assist with review sessions and preparation for course exams Meet with the instructor as needed to prepare for class activities and coordinate instructional support Successful completion of
REL 2300
Introduction to World Religions or comparable coursework Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with undergraduate students Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills Religion AOC student preferred, i.e. familiarity with the academic discipline Familiarity with the course material and expectations Reliability, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively with the instructor
