Job Summary Join our dedicated team as an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Paraprofessional and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with autism. In this role, you will support teachers, therapists, and specialists in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), promoting positive behavior, and fostering independence through evidence-based practices. You will help create a structured, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where students can build confidence, develop essential skills, and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Support implementation of IEP goals, accommodations, and behavior plans Assist students with communication, social interaction, and daily living skills Use visual supports, prompting strategies, and reinforcement systems Provide 1:1 and small group instruction under teacher direction Support students during transitions, specials, lunch, and community-based activities Collect data on student performance and behavior Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and team members Follow all school policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred Paraprofessional certification, 60 college credits, or passing ParaPro score preferred Experience working with students with autism or developmental disabilities preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm, consistent, and positive in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and implement evidence-based practices Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the day Ability to lift, assist, and support students as needed Ability to respond quickly to student needs, including behavior support What We Offer Supportive, team-centered environment Ongoing training and professional development Opportunities for growth within the organization The chance to make a lasting difference in students' lives Schedule Monday•Friday School Day Hours 7:00•3:00 (flex scheduling is available) How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed or submit your resume to
