OPS Teaching Classroom Assistants - FSU Childcare Florida State University - 4.3 Tallahassee, FL Job Details Part-time $15 an hour 4 days ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Department FSU Childcare & Early Learning Program Responsibilities Assist faculty in the supervision of young children, six weeks to five years of age, in daily activities. Assist with housekeeping tasks, such as wiping down tables, cleaning the floors, etc. Assist with other needs of FSU Childcare as needed. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent and some experience working with children. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or a degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development, or Family and Child Science. Other Information Applicable DCF-mandated post-hire training will be required. Hours are flexible and depend on the Center's needs; typically 10 - 20 hours per week. This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, including a fingerprint-based screening via AHCA's Clearinghouse pursuant to Section 1012, Florida Statutes, for positions in a FSU Developmental Research School or Section 409.175, Florida Statutes, for positions in a Childcare or Summer Camp position.
