Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities with patience and care. Engage infants with age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early socialization. Monitor infants' developmental progress and communicate observations to lead teachers or caregivers. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, feeding schedules, diaper changes, and health concerns. Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary. Collaborate with team members to implement individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities. High School Diploma or GED CDA Preferred Prior experience working with infants or in a childcare setting such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar roles. Knowledge of childhood development milestones and best practices in infant care. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong understanding of classroom management techniques suited for infants and toddlers. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a nurturing approach to caregiving. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
