Full Job Description Job Opportunity:
Georgia PreK Assistant Teacher at Children's Learning Adventure, Milton Children's Learning Adventure in Milton is currently seeking a dedicated Georgia PreK Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Paraprofessional Certificate (issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission)
  • Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (issued by the Council for Professional Recognition)
  • TCC (Technical Certificate of Credit) in Early Childhood Education
  • TCD (Technical College Diploma) in Early Childhood Education
AA, AS, AAS, AAT
(Associate Degree)
  • Montessori Diploma (Montessori courses must be taken from an accredited affiliate of the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education [MACTE])
  • BA, BS (Bachelor's degree)
  • Georgia PSC Certified Teacher
  • MA, MS (Master's Degree)
Specialist Degree or PhD Responsibilities:
Create a fun and engaging learning environment to instill a lifelong love for learning in children Develop lessons focusing on social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development Ensure adherence to Bright from the Start's Pre-K Guidelines, policies, and procedures Address the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of each child Encourage collaboration with Pre-K Assistants in curriculum planning Conduct assessments of children's development and communicate progress to parents Maintain open communication with parents, including through parent-teacher conferences Keep accurate records including attendance, portfolios, and other child documentation Maintain confidentiality and promptly report any suspected abuse to supervisors Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all children Attend required Georgia Pre-K training and other in-service opportunities, including monthly staff meetings
