Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans focused on early childhood education, including literacy, math, and social skills development Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure safety and positive behavior Help facilitate inclusive learning environments by working with children with disabilities or special needs, including those on the autism spectrum Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities using computers and other educational technologies to enhance learning experiences Maintain clear communication with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and behavioral updates to foster strong home-school connections Support classroom behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation among students Assist with classroom organization, including proofreading educational materials and preparing supplies for daily lessons Requirements Prior experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and educational compliance regulations such as ESSA Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire to ensure child safety Familiarity with early childhood education practices, tutoring, mentoring, and behavior management strategies Ability to work actively on your feet for extended periods while maintaining a lively and engaging presence in the classroom Join us in shaping bright futures!
