Job Description

The Goddard School in Buford is seeking energetic Assistant Teacher/Support Teacher . An Assistant/Support Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment; Advance children's physical and intellectual competence; Supports each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance; Establishes positive and effective family relations; Ensures an effective program; Responsive to children's needs; Maintains professional commitment. Additionally, Assistant Teachers / Floaters are responsible for working together with the entire faculty in developing and implementing their lesson plans.
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with children preferred
  • Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
