About This Role As a key member of our educational team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and managing the daily operations of the classroom. To be successful in this role, the Teacher must be knowledgeable about the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of young children, and be able to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Effective communication with children and adults is also crucial, as is the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and resolve parental concerns in a professional and compassionate manner. What You'll Do Responsibilities Implement and coordinate educational curriculum by developing age-appropriate activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards. Lead by example and foster a collaborative environment among teaching staff. Develop and lead individual and group activities designed to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children. Regularly communicate with parents through informal discussions to keep them informed of their child's progress. Ensure adherence to all center policies and state regulations. Establish and maintain a healthy and safe classroom environment by adhering to proper hygiene and cleanliness standards, as well as ensuring the security and safety of children. Work closely with co-teachers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records, forms, and files in a timely and organized manner. Develop and maintain a personal professional development plan to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge. Requirements CPR/First Aid Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Nice To Haves Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Bilingual or multilingual skills
