Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Part-Time Assistant Preschool Teacher!
MUST BE AVAILABLE ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS
In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, ensuring each child's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children in a preschool setting, making a meaningful impact on their learning journey while gaining valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social skills development Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and learning across various subjects such as early childhood education, Montessori methods, and behavior management techniques Help with classroom routines including snack time, nap time, and outdoor play to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or requiring toddler care support Communicate effectively with children to foster a supportive learning atmosphere and collaborate with lead teachers on lesson planning and curriculum development Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and supplies to support an optimal learning environment Experience Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is preferred Familiarity with childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies to support diverse learners Knowledge of special education techniques and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is advantageous Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and team members Previous experience with curriculum development or lesson planning for preschool-aged children is a plus Passion for working with children and supporting their growth in a nurturing environment Join us in creating joyful learning experiences for young minds!
