Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and caring Teacher Assistant to support the healthy intellectual, social, and psychological growth of children in our facility. The ideal candidate will assist the lead teacher in creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities Assist with planning and implementing daily classroom activities Support children's educational and social development through individual and group activities Help prepare learning materials and maintain a structured classroom routine Provide basic caregiving support as needed Use creative teaching methods including storytelling, games, drawing, music, and outdoor activities Observe children's behavior and interactions Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment Communicate professionally with parents and staff Assist with behavioral guidance and classroom management Work collaboratively with other staff members Follow all health, safety, and teaching standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Childcare experience preferred Knowledge of child development and early learning activities preferred Strong communication, patience, and time management skills Creative, flexible, and team-oriented CPR and First Aid certification preferred or obtainable after hire Fingerprints/background check required before hire Schedule 4-hour shifts 8-hour shifts Day shift Monday to Friday Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Additional Information Additional details will be provided during the interview.
